Belfast is once again a thriving city with massive new malls, entertainment establishments and even an ice hockey team "The Belfast Giants" (though minor league at best). Northern Ireland is easliy serviced by direct flights from North America and Europe. The once troubled little nation has so much to see and offer. The weather is typical for the UK, wet and damp most of the year. May is usually one of the nicer times.
Ulster is one of the 4 ancient provinces of Ireland. The north shore "Antrim coast " is with out a doubt one of the most scenic shores in all the world. Small fishing villages and ancient castles dot the shoreline.
