Frankenmuth, "Michigan's Little Bavaria", delights over 3 million visitors annually. Its stands as a reminder of the past and a tribute to the early German settlements which made up the American Midwest. Frankenmuth is a very Euro-American city. Its safe, clean and well organized. The German chicken dinners are very good; though I've never actually seen chicken on the menu in Germany.
Year-round German festivals as Oktoberfest and the Bavarian Festival make this German-American city a worth while stop.

Frankenmuth has the typical climate for a city near the Great Lakes. Hot muggy summers and cold snowy winters. The town is a popular stopping point for many seniors on cross country coach tours.
